Los Angeles, CANADINE, a web series pilot from writer, director Tash Ann starring Grace Caroline Currey, will compete at the 21st Annual La Femme International Film Festival, October 16-19, 2025 at the REGAL LA LIVE Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

A crowd-sourced production led by a team of dedicated contributors, “Nadine” pays homage to the Golden Years of the Hollywood studios and the price that was paid by dozens of actresses that the studio controlled.

In 1950’s Hollywood, an aging starlet’s final performance becomes an act of rebellion when she discovers the studio system is discarding her after years of control and abuse.

A still from the web series NADINE- a young man with short dark hair wears a beige sweater and white collared shirt. A dressing room mirror with lights is in the background as he faces the silhouette of a woman.
