Gruesome Playground Injuries, Rajiv Joseph’s dark comedy, stars Sofia Vassilieva and Curtis Belz and is directed by Barbara Bain. The show opens at The Davidson/Valentini Theatre tonight, Thursday, September 19th and runs through Sunday, September 29th. Performances are on Thursdays and Fridays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm. Gruesome Playground Injuries takes place over the course of 30 years as the lives of Kayleen and Doug intersect at the most bizarre intervals, leading the two childhood friends to compare scars and the physical calamities that keep drawing them together.
