A rollicking interactive version of the famous story

Storybook Theatre’s award-winning children’s play Jack and the Beanstalk continues its run at Theatre West every Saturday through May 16th with a rollicking interactive version of the famous story. There are plenty of songs and lots of audience participation to delight the whole family. With a rapping giant, a talking golden goose, and chases up and down the beanstalk, members of the audience try to hide Jack from the giant on his adventure.

The ensemble includes Elise Walters, Bryan Siu, Maxwell Oliver, Aidan O’Connor, Saratoga Ballantine, Meg Lin, Mark Bowen, and Briana Burnside. The show is double-cast. Stage managers are David Mingrino and Leesa Freed.

Storybook Theatre, founded by Lloyd J. Schwartz and Barbara Mallory Schwartz, has been entertaining family audiences for over 40 years. Storybook Theatre is a division of Theatre West. The production is made possible in part by the generous support of the Department of Cultural Affairs, City of Los Angeles.
