A People-Powered Journey Through the Heart of WeHo and Hollywood’s Cultural Gems

On Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Los Angeles will transform its legendary boulevards into a vibrant, “people-powered” good time. CicLAvia—Meet the Hollywoods will take over 6.6 miles of open streets, turning some of the city’s most famous filming locations and cultural landmarks into a massive, day-long pop-up park.

A Cinematic Route Through the “Hollywoods”

The event invites participants of all ages and abilities to ditch the car and explore the city by walking, jogging, biking, skating, or simply spectating. This “stage” stretches across three distinct neighborhoods:

  • Santa Monica Blvd (between San Vicente and Highland)
  • Highland Ave (between Santa Monica and Hollywood Blvd)
  • Hollywood Blvd (between Orange and Virgil/Hillhurst in East Hollywood)

The Anchor Points: Your Guide to the Four Hubs

While you can enter the route at any point, these four Hubs serve as the primary meeting points, mandatory “walking zones” (dismount areas), and activity centers. Each hub offers family-friendly activities, restrooms, free water refilling stations, free basic bike repair, and first aid. Free pedicab rides are also available at each hub’s information booth.

  • West Hollywood Hub: Located on Santa Monica Blvd, east of San Vicente Blvd.
  • Plummer Park Hub: Located on Santa Monica Blvd at Martel Ave.
  • Walk of Fame Hub: Located on Hollywood Blvd at Highland Ave. This hub will host a special World Cup final match watch party and community programming.
  • East Hollywood Hub: Located on Hollywood Blvd, just west of Virgil and Hillhurst Aves.

PRO TIP– A Pit Stop with water, restrooms, and bike repair will also be available on Hollywood Blvd near Wilton Pl

Culture, Community, and a World Cup Finale

This 67th edition of CicLAvia connects West Hollywood, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and East Hollywood, putting L.A.’s “connectivity, creativity, and vibrant neighborhoods” on full display. For those who love a communal viewing experience, the Walk of Fame Hub will host a special World Cup final match watch party, celebrating the global tournament right in the heart of Los Angeles.

Four primary Hubs—West Hollywood, Plummer Park, Walk of Fame, and East Hollywood—will serve as mandatory “walking zones”. These meeting points offer family-friendly activities, free basic bike repair, and free pedicab rides for those who want to take in the sights at a slower pace.

The Spirit of Los Angeles

As a free public event, CicLAvia is more than just a recreation day; it is a movement to reimagine L.A. streets as welcoming spaces for creativity and connection. Executive Director Romel Pascual notes that the route “links West Hollywood, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and East Hollywood, putting some of L.A.’s most iconic destinations on display”.
