‘Echoes In The Forest’ Celebrates Artistry Of The Lowell George Family

Van Dyke Parks and Fred Tackett, with Richard Parks III, Miles Tacket, The Living Sisters, Mike Andrews, Philip Littell, Eliot Douglass, Marcel Carmago, Lexi Pearl and Christopher Wooley, will perform at Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum in Topanga, paying musical tribute to the works and artistry of the George family — Little Feat founder, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Lowell George; songwriter Inara George of The Bird and the Bee and The Living Sisters; and longtime Theatricum board member Elizabeth George — as part of Theatricum’s Echoes in the Forest annual gala on August 23.

The evening will also feature pop-up musical performances throughout the wooded grounds by members of Theatricum’s acclaimed company, as well as hors d’oeuvres and fine wine. Wander through Theatricum’s enchanting gardens as the surrounding forest comes alive with the echoing sounds of art, laughter and shared stories.

Theatricum’s Echoes in the Forest annual gala is on Saturday, August 23 at 6 PM at Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum, 1419 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd., Topanga 90290. For tickets and information go to Theatricum.com.
