Los Angeles Congressman Brad Sherman notified his constituents this week that the acting administrator at FEMA, Cameron Hilton has reduced the time allowed for impacted Angeleno’s to apply for aid. The deadline for victims of the LA Wildfires to apply is March 10th so don’t miss out on this aid if you need help. It is recommended that even if you do not know if you will be eligible, apply now anyway on both the FEMA and SBA websites.
Deadline Fast Approaching, Don’t Miss It
Rep. Sherman states that the deadlines for applying for FEMA aid and much of the SBA loans are outrageously shortened. The congressman along with dozens of California Congressional representatives are urging FEMA and SBA, to extend the deadline until December 31st.

The SBA normally follows the FEMA deadlines so unless FEMA acts to extend the deadline, fire victims will lose their chance to get aid unless they apply by March 10th.
