Nashville Punks secondSELF Release Debut Album ‘The Current Dissent’ May 23rd
New Single “Moving To LA” Produced by Matt Yonker
secondSELF is a punk trio that converged in the shadows of Nashville’s prominent country and Americana music scene, not by way of the musical norms in Music City, but rather for their shared love of fast, melodic and aggressive punk rock. Drawing inspiration from the chaos of life and the turbulence of today’s political and societal climate, their music is raw, urgent, and unapologetic.
Their debut full-length album, The Current Dissent, is set for release May 23rd on Punkerton Records. The first singles, “The Current Dissent,” “Government Blood,” “Grape Soda and Gasoline” and their most recent single produced by Matt Yonker of Less Than Jake “Moving to LA” are now streaming. Find them on Distrokid.
“Moving to LA is a satirical portrayal of a band following the common trend of aspiring to move to LA, hitting it big and becoming rock stars only to realize it’s a fool’s bet.” – Nate Bernardino (secondSELF)

Upcoming shows:
May 22nd: Punk Rock Saves Lives/Punk Rock Hoe Down, Las Vegas
June 14: Cobra, Nashville, TN – record release show
