PIECES OF DECEMBER Holiday One Acts From Write Act Repertory

Laugh, cry and rejoice in this human exploration of the holiday and winter season.

Write Act Repertory opens their third annual Holiday Express Festival called PIECES OF DECEMBER. The show is a collection of 6 world premiere one-act plays written by various Write Act Repertory writers. It will run December 6 through 21, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30PM, Sundays at 2:00PM.

The festival stars Alicia Agramonte, Bruce Anderson, Lance Bagley, Allison Delaney, Lisa Eve, Katie Mary Garland, Sonja Hansen, Kimo Keoke, Mike Knox, Adam Kroksh, Michael Kulukundis, Ceci Laiche, Nneka, Jesse O’Freel, Marquice Perrera, Jack Searer and Ally Jo Williams.

Enter a world of the human holiday experience with this collection of six world premiere one-acts by 7 writers, 7 directors, 17 actors and a host in a pear tree.

RED EYES WITH THE WISE Written and Directed by Abigael Peltonen

When on a flight home for the Holiday, Rebecca searches for love in any seat she can find.

DRECK THE HALLS Written by Thomas J. Misuraca Directed by Jorge A. Pulido

Dark Christmas decorations push a couple to confront their neighbor about the decorations.

After an impulsive act of kindness to a seemingly homeless woman on Christmas Eve, Rose is granted three wishes, all of which have unforeseen consequences.

As a couple decorates their first Christmas tree together, Stephanie begins hearing concerning advice from the tree, forcing her to confront her relationship choices.

When Roy arrives home on Boxing Day, he’s immediately thrust into a boxing ring, battling his family over his inability to prioritize spending time with his loved ones. 

STEVE’S NEW YEAR Written and Directed by Darrin Yalacki

After receiving a surprise Christmas gift on Christmas Eve and confronting his mother on Christmas Day, Steve reconnects with his childhood best friend on New Year’s Eve.
