Punk rock power trio ULTRABOMB return with their explosive new single “Look Forward In Anger,” arriving February 13, 2026 on all streaming platforms. The track is the latest preview from the band’s forthcoming full-length album The Bridges That We Burn, due May 1st, 2026 via DC-Jam Records / Virgin Music Group.

Fueled by urgency and sharp, melodic energy, “Look Forward In Anger” captures Ultrabomb turning shared frustrations into connection, purpose, and positive movement. Bassist and vocalist Greg Norton adds:

“‘Look Forward In Anger’ is a commentary on how partisan politics push to divide us, when we should all be coming together. Love over BS, any day.” The new single follows recent releases “Artificial Stars” and “Checked Out,” which introduced fans to the band’s latest era and earned strong critical praise.

We love Ultrabomb, the new songs remind us of Soul Asylum’s Hang Time and Grave Dancers Union merging with the best of Hüsker Dü. Turn it up and smile because there’s just something about bands from Minneapolis that give us hope for better days ahead and we are so very grateful for that.

Artificial Stars

ULTRABOMB is comprised of punk and alternative rock veterans: Greg Norton (Hüsker Dü) — bass, vocals, Derek O’Brien (Social Distortion / Agent Orange / Adolescents) — drums, vocals and Ryan Smith (Soul Asylum) — guitar, vocals.

Together, the trio bring decades of punk history into the present — creating music that’s fast, fearless, and forward-looking rather than rooted in nostalgia. The Bridges That We Burn was recorded at Creation Audio in Minneapolis and produced, engineered, and mixed by John Fields, with mastering by Justin Perkins (Mystery Room Mastering). The album expands Ultrabomb’s sonic range while maintaining the stripped-down, high-impact energy that defines the band.
