As You Like It – Unrehearsed! Opens in Hollywood
Street Rat Media opens its 2024 Season with a one-of-a-kind production of ‘As You Like It’ by William Shakespeare this month in Hollywood. Led by Miguel Perez and Nicole Ohara, the company is reintroducing the LA theater scene to a specialized actor-centric Shakespeare technique.
There is a theory that many Shakespeare productions during his time were not rehearsed. Instead, actors were assigned scrolls that only contained their character’s lines, the last few words of the line before, and the show would go on! This production of ‘‘As You Like It’ will follow this tradition, with a twist. None of the actors will know what role they will be playing until they open their scrolls: live on stage!

The audience is in for a unique experience as they witness a one-of-a-kind performance of Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It‘ that is completely unrehearsed. Get ready for an evening filled with spontaneity, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Every performance is guaranteed to be different!

TICKETS: Donation Based. Recommended $15.00. All donations will be used to fund future productions.
