Yesterday, Southern California punk-rock veterans zebrahead officially unleashed their new EP, O, marking the final chapter of their ambitious four-part conceptual series that includes the previous releases III, II, and I,. This creative journey showcases a band that continues to evolve while staying true to the “infectious hooks” and “explosive live energy” that have made them international favorites for decades. “Next Level” Sound and a New Music Video 

To celebrate the arrival of the EP, zebrahead also debuted a brand-new music video for the single I Don’t Know How to Put This (But I’m Kinda a Big Deal). Vocalist Ali Tabatabaee noted that the new EP “feels like we tapped into something new,” with bigger riffs and hooks than ever before,. Fans can expect the band’s signature “genre-defying sound” to reach new heights, as guitarist Dan Palmer describes the tracks as having “a varied mix of heavy, melodic, shred, and singalongs for days!”—and we are here for that!

For nearly a decade, zebrahead has embraced a completely independent approach, handling both the creative and business sides of the band themselves. Bassist Ben Osmundson highlighted that this DIY spirit fuels their longevity, stating, “It’s more fun when there is no boss… that has been the approach that has kept the band alive”. With over two million albums sold worldwide and a Grammy nomination under their belt, the band continues to push their songwriting forward while delivering massive choruses and crushing riffs.
