Anthony Lucero’s New Film “The Paper Bag Plan” has West Coast Premiere in Newport Beach

Anthony Lucero’s New Film The Paper Bag Plan‘s West Coast Premiere will screen at Newport Beach Film Festival on October 21st. This is Writer/director Anthony Lucero’s highly anticipated follow up to his award winning feature, East Side Sushi. The film stars Lance Kinsey, Diana Lee Inosanto, Ravi Kapoor, Jillian Mercado, and Cole Massie as Billy.

Oscar, played by Lance Kinsey has dedicated his life to his disabled son Billy’s well being. When he is diagnosed with cancer, he races against time to teach Billy, played by Cole Massie, the intricacies of bagging groceries in hopes that it helps him to land his first job, enabling him to live independently.

As the film embarks on a film festival run, it has screenings at The Heartland Film Festival, the Newport Beach Film Festival. Newport Beach Film Festival tickets are sold out but you have a chance to catch it in Southern California at The Ojai Film Festival on November 4th at 7:30pm.
