Beloved Classic, FOOTLOOSE: The Musical Dances to The Colony Theatre Stage

The Colony Theatre in Burbank announces FOOTLOOSE: The Musical presented by Panic! Productions and BarCinBoo Productions. This dynamo production celebrates the 40th anniversary of the original film release and the 25th anniversary of the Tony Award nominated Broadway Musical. 

Footloose: The Musical is directed by Barry Pearl, known for his role as Doody in Paramount Pictures legendary smash hit, Grease! Pearl has since directed Crazy Time, Gift of The Magi, Grease, Camp Rock, 13 The Musical and All Shook Up. The show is choreographed and co-directed by Michelle Elkin, known for her work in Sutton Foster Live, Young Sheldon, Younger, Sister Act, Hunchback Of Notre Dame, Ragtime and was the Associate Choreographer of Broadway’s Wonderland along with acclaimed Musical Director Ron Burnett. Casting of Footloose: The Musical by Michael Donovan and Richie Ferris.

The stage Adaptation is by Dean Pitchford and Walter Bobbie based on the original screenplay by Dean Pitchford. Music by Tom Snow, lyrics by Dean Pitchford, with additional music by Eric Carmen, Sammy Hagar, Kenny Loggins and Jim Steinman.

Celebrating the exhilaration of youth, the wisdom of listening to one another, and the power of forgiveness, Footloose: The Musical opens March 2nd at The Colony Theatre at 555 N. Third Street, Burbank 91502. Performances are on Fridays at 8pm, Saturday’s at 2pm & 8pm and Sunday’s at 3pm through March 17th.  Previews are on March 1st at 8pm and March 2nd at 2pm.
