Colors Make Friends! Study With Instructor Kaye Freeman

Would you like your drawings to be color bombs? Then join Los Angeles Artist Kaye Freeman at the fabulous @instituteforvisualarts for a four week intensive. You will learn about how colors make friends, experiment with a variety of mediums and generally take your drawings to a new level. The new six week session class for adults of all levels begins Wednesday, April 3rd through April 24th at Institute For Visual Arts in Atwater Village (3229 Glendale Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90039)

Over the course of six weeks, adult students of all levels will become familiar, through experimentation, with a variety of drawing mediums and tools. Instruction will cover line, tone, rendering, color theory and composition. Students will learn to look at ways to incorporate the world and objects around them into a unique style of expression. Through this course, students will learn about technical drawing and abstract drawing, and how the two can come together in an organic way. By the end of the course students will have completed six major color-based drawings.

DRAWING IN COLOR April 3-APRIL 24 – $300 (students bring own materials)
