NEW VIDEO PREMIERE: ‘Howard Zinn Died for Your Sins’ by Cindy Lawson

Rockin’ fiery, feminist, punk rock queen Cindy Lawson has a brand new music video—and it’s an absolute must-see!

¡LONG LIVE THE RESISTANCE!

Cindy Lawson releases the official music video for “Howard Zinn Died for Your Sins” just in time for NO KINGS DAY. Joining her are several well known Minneapolis rockers! Viva la Resistance indeed!

The driving, politically charged anthem is a standout track off her newly minted EP, ¡LONG LIVE THE RESISTANCE!. If you missed our full breakdown of the record when it dropped earlier this month, check out our full EP release coverage here.

Howard Zinn Died for Your Sins is an indictment of the federal government’s violent occupation of Minnesota that resulted in the murder of two innocent people. The video is a series of people talking, singing, and yelling the accusatory lyrics with increasing intensity, illustrating the anger, sadness and fear that our community felt.
