Stand-up comedian, ongoing Presidential candidate and Jersey City native Mike Marino, affectionately known to millions of his fans worldwide as New Jersey’s Bad Boy, will perform his hilarious tales of mafioso presidents, his Italian roots, and whatever else happens to be on his mind. Mike was inducted into the New Jersey Comedy Hall of Fame in 2008 and in 2015 he received the USO Bob Hope Comedy Award for his many performances for Veterans.

He’s a comedian, an actor, a philanthropist, basically everything except a husband and father (at least what we know of) who has shared the stage and screen with names you would recognize. Saturday, the 28th – Preston Smith & The Crocodiles

Preston Smith & The Crocodiles will hit the stage at The Write-off Room this Saturday, September 28th at 8 p.m. The band features Blues Award winning Preston Smith on guitar and vocals, Sal Allessandro on bass, Jason Golsstein plays the keys with Bryan Head on drums.

Preston Smith has earned gold and platinum songwriting credits. He has appeared on national TV, including “The Tonight Show,” and has performed with a wide range of artists, from Bonnie Raitt to Salt-N-Pepa and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He has shared the stage with legends like Bo Diddley, Gregg Allman, Eddie Van Halen, and Jerry Lee Lewis. Notably, he sang at the weddings of Barbra Streisand, Steven Spielberg, and Aaron Spelling, among others. Preston has recorded in England and performed at countless events and premieres. Born in Texas and raised in Arizona, he played the New York City music scene for years, showcasing his talent in soul, original songs, Latin styles, blues, and jazz.
