Kat Kramer founded and established the cinema series “Films That Change The World” in 2009. She curates, presents, hosts and moderates socially-conscious films and documentaries that turn the spotlight on issues we need to address as a society. The November 23rd screenings will be the first time Kramer has presented her late father’s films. The only time that came closest was FALLOUT in November 2013, celebrating the 5th Anniversary of “Kat Kramer’s Films That Change The World.” FALLOUT is an Australian documentary that explores the making of the film version ON THE BEACH, which Stanley Kramer adapted from the novel by Nevil Schute.

The double feature of these two Stanley Kramer classics is especially timely because of two new films being released this Fall. NUREMBERG (SPC) will be released in the US on November 7th, 2025, and A HOUSE OF DYNAMITE (Netflix) debuts on the streaming channel on October 24th. NUREMBERG is written/directed by James Vanderbilt, based on the book “The Nazi and the Psychiatrist” by Jack El-Hai. The solid cast includes Russell Crowe, Rami Malek, Leo Woodall, Colin Hanks, John Slattery, Mark O’Brien, Wrenn Schmidt, Lydia Peckham, Richard E. Grant, and Michael Shannon. A HOUSE OF DYNAMITE, an apocalyptic tale, is directed by Kathryn Bigelow, written by Noah Oppenheimer and stars Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Gabriel Basso, Jared Harris, Tracy Letts and Jason Clark.

Kat Kramer quote: I’m honored to be presenting two of my father’s most impactful film classics. Sadly, Anti- Semitism, the issues of genocide and the threat of Nuclear War are still major concerns today. I want to introduce new audiences to JUDGMENT AT NUREMBERG and ON THE BEACH, especially since two new brilliant films NUREMBERG and A HOUSE OF DYNAMITE, shed light on these pressing issues we need to face. My father devoted his life’s work to bringing worldwide attention to controversial subjects, and it’s important to introduce his films to a new generation. The timing is ideal since both historical subjects are acknowledging 80th Anniversaries.”
