Zero Dollars, Infinite Chaos: an Interactive Comedy at Hollywood Fringe

Secure your free tickets beginning May 1st at HollywoodFringe.org

‘Case Closed??’ is a dark, absurd courtroom comedy that blurs the line between justice and performance. After a clown is found dead at a convention, his sister is put on trial in a very real courtroom, where testimony, evidence, and verdicts unfold before the audience. What begins as a seemingly straightforward legal proceeding quickly fractures, as witnesses contradict themselves, motives become murky, and the pursuit of truth starts to feel increasingly comical.

Blurs the line between justice and performance

Set entirely inside the courtroom, the play invites the audience to act as the jury, weighing evidence, questioning credibility, and ultimately determining the outcome of the trial. Featuring an ensemble cast of clowns, audience participation, and alternate endings, ‘Case Closed??’ questions what justice looks like when the truth keeps shifting, and the verdict is anything but certain.

Currently enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, Gayathri Krishnakumar and Keya Kalyan are emerging artists with a shared interest in the performing arts and collaborative theatre.
